The law authorized the incorporation of Arab Union Constructing Company. “Joint Stock incorporated Company” having the body corporate attribute under the nationality of Great Jamahiriya. Since the incorporation of the company it had executed several crucial contracting , property investment and building materials industry projects. The total value of this activity in Great Jamahiriya exceeded one billion USD throughout Libya comprising residential units , hospitals , banks and sewage and rain drainage and treatment networks. In the field of strategic industries the company set up an ambitious plan to participate in the cement industry by several stages. Stage one was completing line one of Al Burj factory on 01/11/2005 and line two on 01/6/2009. In the field of property investment the company completed stage one of Al Fattah tower in Tripoli. Stage two of this project is currently underway. As for building materials industry the company currently owns several factories for production of building materials required for execution of contracted projects. Surplus production is sold in the local market.
